Then, once construction starts, we continue to work with you to achieve something else all our projects have in common: exceptional results.

Our Home Renovation Process

Our process begins with a consultation visit from our President, Don James and our Senior Estimator. If you require design services, we will call in one of our Design partners. We then take all information gathered from you and translate this into a scope of work. Design work is completed and as many specifications as possible are identified.

We can also provide interior design services, to assist you with your selections.

After you approve the design, we will provide you with an honest, comprehensive estimate. Upon approval, the contract is signed and a Jameswood project manager is assigned to your home renovation project.

Now the exciting stage begins! Your Jameswood project manager is there to answer any questions, supervise the work, prepare the schedule and operate as the your main contact throughout the entire project.

You will be given access to our online project management software where you will be able to view the schedule, pertinent documents and approve changes. All correspondence related to your project will be contained here to avoid long email threads and confusion.

Accurate, detailed financial reports provided on a monthly basis outline the original budget, adjustments to the budget approved by you, and the cumulative cost of the project. This process avoids any unwelcome surprises. We are committed to professionalism and accountability.
