Jameswood Homes is a Winner...Again!

Jameswood Homes was nominated for and won the award for Best Renovators Choice at the annual Calgary Region Home Builders Association SAM awards. The awards were presented on April 19th, 2008.

The owner of this home required a pool house addition that was accessible from the house and outside, that would provide a place for both exercise and relaxation and be bright, airy, modern and unique.

Access from the house is gained through a seamless glass entry door from the master ensuite. Bifold door with solid glass panels open to the outside to allow continuous light.

The pool has a continuous current to swim against for exercise. This feature can be turned off.

A tiled surface opens up onto the landscaped grounds.

The drypack stone wall has a natural layup and had to match the existing stonework on the house exterior. The bifold doors provide a completely open design.

This magnificent pool addition is such that it looks as if it were part of the original house.
