Best Luxury Home over 1.5 Million - Finalist

This new home is in the inner city of Calgary, approximately 4,250 square feet. The house was designed to be a private and totally secure home. Plans were influenced by lot slope and view potential.

The front of the home is dominated by large amounts of cream colored travertine stone. Copper fascia, eavestrough and downspouts further the impression of opulence and warmth.

Upon entering through the ground level front door, you are introduced to an elaborately tiled floor and large stained oak baseboards, casings, doors and frames. A stairwell or an elevator offers access to the other floors of the home. A bar and games room is on the right; the entrance to the double garage on the left.

The main living area has wonderful unobstructed views of the river valley and downtown. The area is open with a custom mahogany entertainment unit at one side and a travertine wood burning fireplace on another.
